Procurement Specialist for Tate Inc.

We are excited to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Russell County, Virginia, offering a unique opportunity to be part of our dynamic team.
The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support our operations.
Responsibilities:- Supports the procurement function by sourcing high-quality materials and services from reliable vendors.
- Gathers detailed knowledge of material applications, uses, and constructability of finished products.
- Monitors inventory levels, identifies discrepancies, and takes corrective actions when necessary.
- Determines optimal pricing strategies based on market conditions and vendor negotiations.
- Negotiates contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company regulations and standards.
- Fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams and logistics departments.
- Maintains accurate records of transactions, analyzes data to identify trends, and provides insights for process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and proficient in computer technology.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory control processes.
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
