Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of medical imaging professionals. As an MRI Technologist at Firelands Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal imaging results.
- Operate MRI equipment, selecting and adjusting technical factors to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the imaging process.
- Registered Technologist ARRT(R) certification.
- Training in MRI, preferably one to three years' experience in MRI protocols.
- Registered in MRI, ARRT(MR), preferred.
- Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an approved school and ability to meet and maintain requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Current certification in CPR, with bi-annual recertification.
