About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University's Cancer Center. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with cancer and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least two years of experience in oncology nursing.
