Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Professional to join our team at Michael E. Merhige MD LLC. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Cardiac Care Professional will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care, including clinic visits and imaging procedures.
  • Safely initiating and performing electrocardiogram (ECG) tests during physical exercise and/or pharmacologic stress testing.
  • Monitoring patients undergoing Holter monitoring and operating equipment associated with External Counter-Pulsation Therapy.
  • Assessing and documenting patient vitals and treatment progress.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse license (New York State)
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (required), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
