• Implement daily inventory checks to verify accuracy.

• Monitor and maintain scrap processes by applying Best Practices, including bulk waste documentation.

• Develop and instruct team members on operational protocols for tasks such as verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, managing materials, maintaining current warehouse inventory, baling operations, and closely tracking all internal trailer movements.

• Provide training on all equipment for new employees during scheduled shifts.

• Manage mobile equipment, including attachments - focusing on training, coordinated maintenance, and safe operation.

• Maintain cleanliness standards and consistently adhere to 6S Audit Standards across all facilities.

• Comply with GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations and guidelines.

• Collaborate with departmental managers to synchronize warehouse activities with other functions such as production, customer service, production planning, quality assurance, and procurement.

• Establish and conduct 6S audits.

• Ensure adherence to Quality Control Procedures and work instructions.

• Execute internal and external warehouse audits to confirm proper inventory management and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee all Finished Goods and Raw Materials inventories, including salvage and the handling of damaged or rework materials.

• Lead and manage special projects as assigned.

• Oversee the debagging unit and associated processes.

• Ensure the safe operation of AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) utilizing software and vision systems.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.

• A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role within Materials/Logistics.

• Strong preference for experience in transforming a logistics organization from a reactive to a proactive culture.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in compiling and presenting information using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

• Capable of effectively training team members on expectations, procedures, policies, and mobile equipment.

• Ability to act as a change agent, leading by example.

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word & Excel, and ERP software - preferably JD Edwards or similar systems.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.

Work Environment:

• Noisy setting requiring hearing protection; manufacturing environment necessitating safety shoes and safety glasses.

• Other personal protective equipment may be required based on specific tasks. Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate safety equipment at all times.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk or stand for the entirety of the shift.

• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting may be required.

• Occasional climbing and reaching, including overhead tasks.

• Occasional pushing and pulling using arms and legs.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Occasional climbing of steps may be necessary.

• Balance is required for certain tasks.
