Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Manager to join our team at Express Employment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing automation projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to review project schedules and deadlines.
  • Manage engineering and installation timelines to ensure timely completion.
  • Schedule manpower and equipment for critical project dates.
  • Procure materials, negotiate savings, and oversee subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and reporting standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the project team and customers.
  • Oversee project closeout, including owner training and final documentation.
  • Review performance, cost efficiency, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience with project management software (MS Project).
  • Background in building automation is essential.
  • Experience with energy management and efficiency is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer relations, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in scheduling, estimating, and managing budgets.
  • Construction Management degree or equivalent experience preferred.
