Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Lead Developer with significant ledgering experience to collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts and Development teams to deliver high-quality results across multiple projects. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing our automation framework, test planning, scripting, and executing tests to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Utilize and extend the automation framework to accommodate ledgering processes and other business requirements.
2. Lead testing efforts for ledgering systems, ensuring data accuracy and financial integrity.
3. Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to review business objectives and requirements, with a focus on ledgering.
4. Develop, document, and maintain test data, data validation, and end-to-end testing flows specifically for ledger-related applications.
5. Conduct both manual and automated testing for ledgering functions, reporting on results and identifying areas for improvement.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ledgering automation and manage defects throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Create test status reports and test summaries focused on ledgering to ensure implementation readiness.
8. Manage and maintain the regression test bed, adapting to changes in ledgering processes and requirements.
9. Participate in off-hour production releases as needed and support the project warranty period.
10. Provide mentorship to junior team members on ledger-related testing and automation.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with a focus on ledgering.
3+ years of experience in automation testing for ledger systems, particularly using REST Assured or similar tools.
Proficiency in building automation scripts using Java or Ruby, with ledgering expertise.
Experience designing automation frameworks and performance testing, with a background in database and ledger service testing.
Strong SQL skills for querying and validating ledger data.

Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on ledgering experience, with a deep understanding of financial processes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically ADO pipelines and Jenkins.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and proficiency in Azure DevOps.
Strong communication skills to explain ledgering issues clearly and concisely.
Experience working in an Agile-Scrum or Kanban environment.
