Senior Protective Design Engineer

As a Senior Protective Design Engineer, you will play a key role in our Building Design Group, working on a variety of challenging projects that require innovative and effective protective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive protective design strategies for clients across a broad range of markets, including DoD, Federal/Local Government, and Industrial.
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines to integrate protective design solutions on building and site design projects.
  • Develop a wide range of protective design solutions, including AT/FP, SCIF, perimeter security, vehicle entry control points, CPTED, blast/ballistic resistance, and electronic security systems.
  • Provide oversight and quality control of protective design reports and construction documents.
  • Review SOWs and develop in-house proposals for protective design efforts.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in protective design engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • Experience with industry-wide security criteria, including Department of Defense and Inter-agency Security Committee standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
