Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and support personnel in the technical acquisition of Stress Echocardiograms.
- Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) on patients, ensuring the highest quality of imaging through 2D, m-mode, PW, CW, and color Doppler techniques.
- Perform pharmacological stress echocardiograms while maintaining optimal image quality.
- Tailor interactions and treatments for patients during examinations, prioritizing their privacy and comfort.
- Maintain the Echo Lab Manual and Log book, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Organize and manage various media and reports related to echocardiography.
- Adhere to departmental quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Support the efficient operation of echo imaging units by safely using equipment, reporting abnormalities, and seeking technical service when necessary.
- Utilize downtime effectively by engaging in professional development, equipment maintenance, and other beneficial tasks for the department.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Lead Echo Technologist and Supervisor, aiming to minimize waste and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in performing stress echocardiograms.
- Completion of an accredited Sonography program in Echocardiography.
- Required certifications include:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate
- OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate
- OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate

- Comprehensive knowledge of current Echocardiography principles, practices, and techniques, including cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- A degree in cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical sonography is preferred.
