As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Piedmont Healthcare, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis of disease by performing diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations. You will work under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist to ensure that all prescribed standards are met. Additionally, you will provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards.
Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Work under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist to ensure that all prescribed standards are met.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program (ARRT) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or Certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred.
Six (6) months MRI technologist experience preferred.
BLS certified.
