Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and treatment plans to individuals with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Patient Evaluations: Review physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine speech and language therapy treatment needs.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Perform and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and develop treatment and discharge plans.
  • Administer Therapy Treatments: Plan and administer medically prescribed speech therapy treatments to patients.
  • Lead Clinical Teams: Provide leadership for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Speech Students, Rehab Aides, and Volunteers.
  • Communicate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate with other health team members, involved in patient care conferences as appropriate.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay abreast of current developments and new technology in speech therapy.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate Degree (Masters) in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Licensure/Certification: Licensed in State of Ohio Speech Pathology, Audiology Board.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CPR Certification, Certificate of Clinical Competence.
