About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Wyndemere Senior Living Campus.
Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident units and public areas. This includes:
- Maintaining community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Performing housekeeping and laundry functions to meet the needs of residents
- Mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting, and spot cleaning assigned areas
- Observing safety precautions and reporting hazards to the EVS Manager or Supervisor
- Utilizing cleaning chemicals, supplies, and techniques according to procedure and manufacturer recommendations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to six months of experience in housekeeping or janitorial work
- Proficiency in the English language, enabling you to read, write, comprehend, and communicate simple instructions and correspondence
