Medical Assistant

Atrius Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clinicians with routine clinical procedures and tests in the exam room.
- Ensure all pre-visit work required for exams is completed and that lab and other test results are available in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Deliver excellent customer service and strengthen the patient/clinician relationship through timely and informative interactions with patients.
- Improve clinical operations and efficiencies by providing efficient flow of patients.
- Provide clinical and clerical support to the practice and clinicians related to patient care.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit or a Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Associate degree in medical assisting or graduate of medical assistant certification program preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
