Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control procedures to uphold product standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and quality-related issues promptly.
  • Lead and participate in team meetings, offering training and guidance to staff.
  • Oversee hiring processes to build a competent team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Assist the Site QMS Representative in meeting ISO9001 standards.
  • Travel may be required occasionally for site assessments and training.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector, specifically within the paper industry.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, along with CI/Lean experience, is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role is necessary.
  • Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab, and SharePoint is expected.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
