Position Summary

We are seeking a committed Automotive Service Dispatcher to enhance our flourishing Service Department and ensure our customers receive outstanding service. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic and professional environment, bringing prior experience from Service Departments, Independent shops, or Dealerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a timely manner
  • Gather customer and vehicle details
  • Accurately document vehicle issues as reported by customers
  • Assess and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
  • Prepare precise cost estimates for labor and parts
  • Set follow-up appointments
  • Track the status of each vehicle throughout the day, providing regular updates to customers
  • Ensure that final invoices match the work completed on repair orders
  • Clarify all completed services and charges to customers
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment for our clients

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Service Department, Independent shop, or Dealership
  • Ability to work diligently with minimal supervision
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Understanding of automotive systems
  • Positive demeanor and attitude
  • High-volume service mentality
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays
  • Consistent five-day work schedule with one weekday off and Sundays off
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings (Background & Drug tests)
