About Our Team:
Our Medical-Surgical unit is a fast-paced environment with 30 beds, where we deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Our nursing staff collaborates closely with the entire healthcare team to create comprehensive care plans for adult and geriatric patients facing various health challenges, including those transitioning from specialty care units such as Surgery, Pulmonary, Neuroscience, Oncology, and Orthopedics. We are supported by a dedicated IV team, home medication nurse, and lift team.

The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients throughout their lifecycle. This includes utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Additionally, the nurse will maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure high-quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are encouraged to apply.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is required.
Additional Qualifications:
Advanced certification in the specialty field is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is also preferred, along with nursing experience in a hospital setting.
