Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Producibility Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Quality Producibility Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the manufacturability of new products and leading improvements for existing products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to enhance manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and reduce costs
  • Lead manufacturing: Collaborate with various teams to meet cost, delivery, and safety targets
  • Issue Resolution: Quickly resolve issues during industrialization and production, ensuring root cause identification and corrective actions
  • Technical Quality Packages: Deliver robust manufacturing technical packages and methods for production components
  • High-Performance Culture: Champion continuous improvement within the team
  • Concession Assessment: Assess internal/external concessions resulting in quality issues
  • Lessons Learned: Integrate lessons learned into methods and designs to improve quality, cost, delivery, and lead time
  • Production Support: Provide day-to-day quality support for manufacturing operations
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in engineering management or operations
  • Previous roles as a Quality Engineer in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors
  • Strong manufacturing engineering background with expertise in the design and definition of complex products
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in product (cost, manufacture, maintenance, build)
  • Proven technical and professional in a team of Engineers and manufacturing disciplines
  • Experience in leading change across a business
  • Practical experience in a production or supply chain facility in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience in New Product Introduction, Industrialization, Production, and related processes
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to work in an office and shop floor environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
