Job Description

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled EHS Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and implementing an EHS strategy that aligns with our business culture, division, and Value Stream priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for improvement to reduce hazards and improve safety performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement LEAN continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage EHS training programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Communicate EHS information to employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Manage EHS budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company funds.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aircraft engines experience.
  • Experience with LEAN continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as SSS, Excel, SAP, and Gensuite.
