Chaupain Bakery is a flourishing establishment in the bakery and café sector, renowned for our exceptional quality in croissants, pastries, and culinary offerings.
Position Summary:We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to become part of our baking team. We have TWO openings for night shifts and TWO for mid-day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the pastry station in accordance with production standards.
- Shape various types of croissants.
- Assist in the finishing touches on croissants and other baked goods.
- Prepare all pastry items as instructed, adhering to company standards.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines set by the Pastry Chef.
- Restock items as necessary throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, practicing good safety and sanitation protocols.
- Respectful and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to stand and work for extended periods.
While we are open to training, a minimum of 2 years experience in baking, particularly in croissant shaping, is advantageous. A current Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one is required.
