Dental Care Specialist

As a Dental Care Specialist with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, you will provide comprehensive dental care services to patients, ensuring a professional and compassionate environment. You will lead the Dental Clinic team, establish and maintain patient relationships, and document care in electronic health records.
Duties:- Clinical: Provide routine dental care services, lead the Dental Clinic team, and establish patient relationships.
- Follow-up: Document care, communicate with patients, and modify care plans as needed.
- Health Promotion: Recommend preventative maintenance, discuss lifestyle changes, and participate in health promotion activities.
- Education: Enhance patient self-care through health education, and participate in quality assurance review activities.
Requires a DDS or DMD from a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and either a certificate from an accredited General Practice residency program or 2 years of responsible experience in the profession. A minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience is also required.
Physical Requirements:Regularly required to finger, handle, reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk, sit, stand. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements:Local, Statewide, and out-of-state travel may be required.
