Job Summary

Rose Paving LLC is seeking a skilled Seal Coat Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for coordinating daily labor activities and performing physical labor at parking lots using various maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Take photos of job sites, including warranties and accidents.
  • Ensure proper signage is displayed at each job site and collect signs after completion.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-job checklists.
  • Enter data on job sheets for material, equipment, and labor costs.
  • Monitor weather conditions and implement traffic control measures as needed.
  • Prevent overweight truck loading and ensure all materials are installed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete work within Rose Paving LLC standards and evaluate situations to suggest improvements.
  • Act as a problem solver and assist workers in resolving work challenges.
  • Estimate crew hours for assignment completion and confer with supervisors to coordinate fieldwork.
  • Build customer relationships by introducing yourself to clients upon arrival.
  • Operate within budgetary constraints and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain a service and maintenance program on all equipment.
  • Participate in employee evaluation programs and follow company policies.
  • Encourage cross-training and investigate continuing education opportunities.
  • Enforce personal and field safety protection.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Broad understanding of Rose Paving's business and proven abilities in Seal Coating and other services.
  • Ability to apply basic geometry concepts.
