Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Handling and Preparation: Handle and prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.
  • Procedure Understanding and Anticipation: Understand the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Quality Patient Care: Ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and maintain a sterile field to prevent infection and promote healing.
  • Supply and Equipment Management: Check and prepare supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures, including medications and solutions.
  • Scrubbing and Gowning: Scrub, gown, and glove up to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Setup and Preparation: Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures.
  • Counting and Verification: Perform accurate counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before incision closure.
  • Surgeon and Assistant Support: Gown and glove the surgeon and assistants, and help with draping the sterile field.
  • Instrument Passing: Pass instruments, etc., to the surgeon during procedures.
  • Terminal Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and assist with terminal cleaning of the room.
  • Room Preparation: Assist in prepping the room for the next patient.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Surgical technologists must graduate from surgical technology programs accredited through ARC/STSA and or institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Current and active certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist is required, along with a minimum of one year of surgical tech experience.
