Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a highly driven finance expert to join our dynamic team as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in facilitating business analysis and strategic planning for our Canada Markets division.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Deliver analytical support to business leaders to enhance decision-making processes.
- Assist in the creation of financial forecasts, including annual plans and quarterly updates.
- Conduct analyses aimed at driving growth, profitability, and cost-efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate performance metrics to identify trends and forecast future outcomes.
- Engage in financial modeling and the compilation of quantitative data.
- Ensure the discreet and confidential management of sensitive financial information.

Financial Management
- Support ongoing initiatives related to accounts receivable collections.
- Aid in the management of pipeline and work in progress, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition and contract stipulations.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director and business leaders on expense management strategies.

Reporting
- Partner with business leaders and senior finance team members to produce regular and ad-hoc reports, including both informal and formal presentations.
- Work with the team to streamline reporting processes through automation while maintaining data integrity.
- Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial packages.
- Organize and oversee team data collection and reporting communications.

Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Engage in the development and dissemination of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for data management tools.
- Exhibit a high level of customer service in interactions with business leadership and finance teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business partners on financial and operational issues.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance technical skills and identify strategic opportunities and financial risks through cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis.
- Experience in the Commercial Real Estate sector is preferred.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Products (especially Excel), Enterprise Planning Software (EPM), and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen understanding of margin drivers and a proactive approach to improving bottom-line efficiencies.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- French fluency is a significant advantage.
