Job Summary:
This position is responsible for repairing and installing advanced production/manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment
- Repair and install new equipment as needed
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs
- Mentor and support less experienced mechanics
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas
- Experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with compressors/ammonia systems
- Experience with conveyers and airveyors
- Experience with electronics
- Experience with gearing and gear boxes
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- Experience with pneumatics
- Experience with PLC
- Experience with pumps
- Experience with SERVO
Work Environment:
This position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. The position may require weekend and/or holiday work.
