Mechanical Technician

As a Mechanical Technician at Sulzer, you will be responsible for reading job cards to determine job status, work authorization, and estimate. You will also test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot problems and disassemble equipment to note parts identifications and configuration.
Additionally, you will clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed and measure for or note proper replacement parts. You will replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies and retest reassembled equipment for proper output and operation.
Finally, you will complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and basic mechanical aptitude. You will also need to understand, perform, and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor.
