About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native DevOps Engineer to join our team at ClearlyAgile. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze our current technology stack and develop a strategy to continuously improve application delivery and scalability.
  • Establish milestones to measure and monitor the delivery and reliability of software as strategies are implemented.
  • Identify manual processes during the software development lifecycle that can be automated and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Develop a cloud-migration strategy for software not currently hosted in a cloud environment and lead the migration process.
  • Periodically review our infrastructure and hosting costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Establish best practices and mentor other engineers in enterprise-level DevOps solutions and cloud infrastructure management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and Terraform.
  • Cloud knowledge, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience establishing and developing continuous integration pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Experience establishing and developing continuous delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure and re-platforming applications into a cloud environment.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale systems, with a preference for.NET, Node, Go, Vue, and Angular.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
  • Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
Location and Other Requirements

This is a remote role, and candidates must be located in the US. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no subcontracts or visa sponsorship).
