Pulmonary Medicine Physician

As a Pulmonary Medicine Physician at Allina Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. With a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and improve workflows.
Your primary responsibilities will include direct patient care, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and education. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and multidisciplinary team approaches to case management. With opportunities to provide care in various settings, including ambulatory clinics, inpatient wards, and outpatient hospitals, you will be challenged to grow professionally and personally.
The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree in medicine (M.D.) or osteopathic medicine (D.O.), completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in internal medicine, and an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in pulmonary disease. Licensure as a physician in Minnesota and current certification in pulmonology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine are also required.
