About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Senior Nyx Docking Mechanism Engineer. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering the future docking mechanism for Nyx, which will enable Nyx to rendezvous and dock with spacecraft, including the International Space Station and Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) destinations.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, along with 4-10 years of experience in mechanical systems design, analysis, and testing of aerospace or space-related systems, with a focus on docking mechanisms highly preferred. Strong understanding of materials selection, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques relevant to space hardware is also essential.
