About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to human spaceflight and deep space exploration programs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain complex simulations to analyze spacecraft performance and trajectory design.
  2. Design and execute analysis to compare the performance of different guidance algorithms.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new algorithms and technologies.
  4. Contribute to the development of requirements documentation for mission design products.
  5. Participate in the integration and testing of new systems and software.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
  • Experience with orbital mechanics and designing spacecraft trajectories.
  • Experience with the development of spacecraft mission design algorithms.
  • Experience analyzing spacecraft performance.
  • Experience with 6-DOF spacecraft simulations.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and Linux.
  • Experience in product delivery utilizing source code management tools such as Git/GitLab.
  • Experience developing, verifying, and validating simulation models.

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
