Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to monitor revenue performance, identify trends, and develop insights to improve governmental reimbursements.
  • Coordinate Medicare and Medicaid audits, assisting with the preparation of supporting work papers and documentation.
  • Develop and implement methods for improving reporting efficiency, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and direction to professional staff, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in financial reporting.
Requirements
  • 6 years of related experience, with an MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience in preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports required.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Epic, Stratajazz, PeopleSoft, SQL, Power BI, EPSI, and Kodiak (RCA).
