Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Brand Vaughan Lumber. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining your truck, and reporting any issues to your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Materials: Safely transport materials to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Truck Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Reporting: Report any issues or shortages to your supervisor, and assist in loading and storing materials.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery and unloading of materials.
  • Logistics: Assist in organizing and securing loads, and participate in a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of CDL experience, with basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class A CDL License Required or Class B CDL License Required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Communication: Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
  • Math and Reading: Ability to do basic math, read orders, and write instructions.
  • Technology: Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies, such as GPS and other necessary business applications.
