Position Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise high-level tasking and scheduling across various technical teams within an IT hosting and development setting.
- Create comprehensive project plans to monitor and track the progress of multiple intricate IT initiatives.
- Modify project plans as needed to guarantee successful task completion.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely execution of tasks across diverse teams.
- Conduct risk management to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Oversee changes to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Assess and report on project performance, status, and challenges.
- Provide estimates for time and resources required for IT hosting projects.
- Facilitate progress meetings to evaluate project tasks across teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with contractor and Government technical teams, subject matter experts, and clients to take ownership of complex IT project tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:- A minimum of 5 years of full life-cycle software engineering experience in a project management role, lead position, or as a senior-level IT technical resource (software engineer, system administrator).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Proven experience in creating, coordinating, and tracking detailed complex IT project schedules and tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Project is mandatory.
Desired:
- Experience in a Department of Defense software development and/or hosting environment is preferred.
Security Clearance:
An active Secret clearance is required. An interim Secret clearance is acceptable to start.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
