Job Summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating team and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing estimating operations, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and participating in pre-construction and post-construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
  • Manage and direct a team of estimators, overseeing estimates and ensuring timely completion.
  • Source and review pricing information, bid documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to maximize value.
  • Participate in pre-construction activities, such as reviewing cost estimates, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure project feasibility.
  • Advise project teams on the best materials and design to maximize cost savings and improve project outcomes.
  • Conduct post-construction reviews and analyze actual costs against estimates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a database of current and historical project data to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports to upper management, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Experience in bidding/estimating for various construction projects, including healthcare, industrial, food and beverage, manufacturing, assisted living, design-build, and other sectors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Software proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office Suite.
