Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to oversee our estimating operations.

The Chief Estimator will take charge of the estimating division, ensuring precise project estimates, nurturing client relationships, and engaging in both pre-construction and post-construction processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs and generate thorough cost estimates for various projects.
  • Lead and supervise the Estimating team, ensuring quality and accuracy in all estimates.
  • Gather and evaluate pricing data, bid documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating favorable prices and terms.
  • Engage in pre-construction tasks, including cost estimate reviews, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Advise project teams on optimal materials and designs to enhance cost efficiency.
  • Conduct post-construction evaluations, comparing actual costs to initial estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Establish and manage a database of current and historical project information.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
  • Proven experience in bidding and estimating for sectors such as Healthcare, Industrial, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Assisted Living, Design-Build, and various other construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office Suite.
