Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Operator to join our team at Aspire Bakeries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot the Grandi Vision System and un-cuffing machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with the packaging area to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Investigate and resolve alarms in a timely and safe manner.
  • Use radio or overhead PA system to communicate with mechanics and production supervisors as needed.
  • Assist packaging techs in resolving large jams or other major issues.
  • Communicate out-of-specification products to the production line team promptly.
  • Follow safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Perform tasks and duties to ensure production and efficiency standards are met.
  • Ensure proper set-up for the next shift and communicate relevant information.
  • Perform training of new operators and assist in other training activities.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and write in English and use basic math and time keeping.
  • Able to make logical decisions.
  • High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous work history in a food manufacturing facility.
