Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Care Specialist to join our dynamic Emergency Response Team at AMR. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care in emergency situations, including patient assessment and management in critical conditions.


Responsibilities:
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and suction devices, to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Ambulance Driver's License from DMV.
  • Medical Examiner's Card from DMV.
  • State of California Paramedic License.
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY).
  • ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY).
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $27.14 to $51.08 per hour, based on experience, with an estimated annual salary of $56,300 to $106,200. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation, and paid time off.
