We are seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to join our team at Interim HealthCare of NEPA. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide personal care and support to seniors in the comfort of their own homes.
Salary: Up to $17 per hour, with weekly pay and direct deposit.
About the RoleAs a Home Care Aide, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
You will also help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises, providing medication reminders, documenting client conditions, and notifying supervisors of any concerns.
To ensure a safe home environment, you will need to check for unobstructed pathways and participate in activities that bring joy to our clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of relative experience, and CPR certification.
A valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation are preferred. You should also possess a compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
