Job Title: Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Housby Mack, Inc. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles according to OEM guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain equipment by performing inspections to identify work and/or damaged parts.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles according to OEM guidelines.
  • Make recommendations of repairs needed to management to provide estimate for customers.
  • Correct vehicle deficiencies by replacing, repairing, and adjusting parts.
  • Perform repairs within given timelines.
  • Properly document time and steps taken for correction of customer complaint.
  • Use shop provided tools as per intended use.
  • Properly dispose of any fluids.
  • Clean work bay when repairs are complete.
  • Follow general safety rules for each job.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of diesel engine experience and/or medium duty gas engines.
  • Training on multiple different classes of trucks is a plus.
  • Class A or B CDL preferred, but not required.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • General computer skills.
