Job Title: Pharmacist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating physician medication orders, maintaining patient/resident databases, and ensuring appropriate laboratory tests are ordered and evaluated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration.
  • Maintain patient/resident database to include current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication.
  • Ensure appropriate laboratory tests are ordered, evaluated, and discussed with the healthcare team.
  • Document all communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members in the medical record.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • 1+ year of experience working as a Pharmacist.
  • Active pharmacist license from the state of Texas.
