Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Beaver Dam, WI. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to support production operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated PLCs, robotics, and other computer-controlled equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to prioritize and assign work orders to maintenance technicians.
  • Develop and manage relationships with outside contractors and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze equipment to troubleshoot problems and assess maintenance needs.
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Technology or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a highly technical environment.
  • Journeyman certification in electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics.
