Bartender - Part-Time Position at Albuquerque Isotopes Park

The Bartender is a key member of our team, responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. To excel in this role, you must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. You will maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role offers an hourly wage of $15.00 plus tips. As a part-time employee, you will be eligible for benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. You will also receive one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional guest service, interacting with coworkers and maintaining uniform standards.
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service as described.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits to guests.
- Pour drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving size.
- Verify minimum age requirements for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
- Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns.
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations, contacting management or security as needed.
- Request additional product or restock as required.
- Handle cash accurately, maintaining a clean and sanitary work station.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including set-up and breakdown of bar equipment.
- Must be 21 years old.
- At least six months of bartending experience.
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Bartending school preferred.
