Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including pre-construction and project closeout.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and other project team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure it stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety policies and regulations.
  • Report on project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met in all stages of the project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing mid-rise and high-end construction projects.
  • Previous experience as a general contractor is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in project management software, particularly Procore.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and safety laws.
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to construction sites within the municipality.
