Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in an inpatient and outpatient clinic setting.
- Evaluate, triage, and prioritize consults from primary care and other services for outpatient oncology consultations.
- Obtain medical history, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe patient treatment.
- Coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other personnel in a multidisciplinary healthcare delivery system.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned such as peer review and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations.
- Provide oncology on-call services as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) or an equivalent degree.
- Must be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
- Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the US.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must have a clear and active DEA.
Benefits:
- The salary for this position is $164 / hr.
- Competitive and Negotiable.
Schedule:
- This is a Full-time position.
- Clinic or OR Schedule: 40 Hours per week per provider during administrative hours.
- Normal Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
