Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Neurology Physician to fill a vital role in our healthcare facility. This position is available due to the transition of a current neurologist to establish their own practice.

Call Schedule

The call schedule is set at 1:4 for both weekdays and weekends, with phone consultations being the primary mode of communication unless the physician prefers to attend in person.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves outpatient care, with the physician working out of a single clinic. There will be limited inpatient consult responsibilities.

Emergency Services

There is no requirement for stroke intervention in the emergency room; however, acute telestroke services are available 24/7.

Specialization Opportunities

While we are looking for a general neurologist, there is potential for the development of subspecialties based on the physician's interests.

Facility Resources

The hospital is equipped with advanced facilities for EMG, NCS, LP, skin biopsies, botox treatments, and trigger point injections. The physician will also have the opportunity to interpret EEGs, which are conducted within the hospital.

Certification and Integration

Our facility is recognized as the primary neurology practice for the region and is a Joint Commission certified stroke center. We utilize an integrated EMR system that provides seamless access to all specialists.
