Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating electrical systems, including board level and system level integration of circuit card assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including circuit card assemblies, to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to integrate analog and digital electronics.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and at least nine (9) years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital design principles, including serial communication, logic design, power design, and signal filtering.
  • Experience with configuration management toolsets, including version control of hardware, software, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with embedded microprocessors and FPGAs.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with DOORS and Aras toolsets.
  • Circuit simulation experience.
  • DoD weapons integration experience.
  • Safety Critical Hardware Design & Analyses experience.
  • Product Life Cycle Management experience.
