Cardiorenal Sales Consultant

Bayer is seeking a highly skilled Cardiorenal Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Cardiorenal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products, consistent with Bayer's compliance standards and applicable legal requirements. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Health Care Providers, to drive access and utilization for approved Cardiovascular products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop professional relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, and pharmacy staff.
  • Drive appropriate utilization of approved Cardiovascular products, working closely with other Bayer commercial associates to generate pull-through within local payers and community Health Care Providers.
  • Leverage knowledge of diabetes, nephrology, and CVD, as well as the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities/plans, to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues regarding strategic and tactical planning for the territory, area, and region.
  • Develop and implement effective customer-specific territory plans with Regional Sales Managers, communicating insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
  • Understand fully the assigned customers' product and business needs, working to meet those needs while adhering to all of Bayer company ethics and compliance standards.
  • Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose responsible solutions for success.
  • Effectively handle customer objections and exceed customer expectations with the value you bring to Physicians.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in healthcare or a relatable sales environment.
  • Proven track record of high performance and customer obsession.
  • Ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Quick learning agility, with a curiosity and savviness to come up to speed on the product and industry.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and computer capabilities.
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Virtual Sales Experience.
  • Local relationships with Health Care Providers and understanding of local market.

Compensation:

Bayer offers a competitive salary, ranging from $106,100 to $160,100, as well as additional compensation including bonus or commission (if relevant). Employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave. This compensation range is an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, skills, and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
