Job Summary

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts and reacting appropriately.
Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring equipment is properly functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 18 months (1-1/2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
Advanced Life Support preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
