Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Route Optimization Specialist to join our team at Republic Services, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle and promptly completing assigned daily tasks, ensuring the vehicle is in compliance with our safety standards prior to operation.

This role requires a strong understanding of route optimization techniques and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a vehicle to complete assigned daily tasks
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization

  • Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize routes and improve delivery efficiency
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 1-2 years of driving experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
