Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and polished lead host to join our team at Kaskaid Hospitality. As a lead host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and working closely with our management team to achieve our vision of being the leading purveyor of the spirit of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and sincere service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Check in all employees and highlight reservations on the Open Table system.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and process takeout orders.
  • Ensure menus are clean and organized, and restrooms and the host stand are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Work with management to ensure proper wait times and interact with guests to ensure a positive experience.
  • Utilize Open Table to capture important information about guests and review reservations to plan the shift.
  • Print special chits off Open Table and hand them off to servers upon checking in.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with management, servers, team members, and guests.
  • Basic reading and computer skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently, and to organize and multitask.
  • Visual scanning of the restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.

Compensation

$30.00 per hour
