  • Review and assess documentation related to Bridge, Renovation, and Ground-Up Construction loans, including budgets, plans, permits, and compliance certificates.
  • Establish necessary conditions for loan funding in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Analyze various financial ratios and metrics, understanding the underlying formulas and their impact on asset credit ratings.
  • Facilitate lien resolution with title and third parties, addressing city liens, substandard liens, and subordinate liens.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive loan files for review by the Asset Underwriting Manager.
  • Manage the pipeline and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful closings.
  • Update the internal loan processing system with relevant data, documentation, and notes.
  • Act as a liaison among loan originators, relationship managers, sales associates, borrowers, and closing agents throughout the signing and funding process.
  • Request and review conditions prior to documentation, funding, and post-closing, ensuring compliance with Asset Underwriting Policy.
  • Exhibit analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills by gathering and applying relevant data to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to navigate subjective areas requiring thoughtful decisions based on logic and reason.
  • Manage communication and pressure from multiple sources, especially near funding deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving solutions to all parties involved in the loan process.

*These essential functions are fundamental to the role and must be performed on-site, as they cannot be conducted remotely. The Company emphasizes the importance of in-person presence for oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity.
